Please read all details on shipping , it is important.
If any questions on ordering please see Ordering Information.
Free shipping applies to delivering terminal only and or else to a commercial location that has means to offload machine(s). See Liftgate/Residetial Service
Orders being delivered by freight carriers will be provided pro/tracking numbers, the freight carrier and their telephone number. We recommend that you call carrier, provide them with the pro number and request the delivering terminals number so you can coordinate the delivery. The pro numbers sometimes get delayed being placed in the carriers system, if that is the case just call back later. Make sure if you have liftgate/residential service that it is on the shipment, if not give us a call at 859-986-3453 or 866-986-2555. Inspect the shipment for any obvious damage before signing off on shipment from carrier. The carrier is responsible for any damage in transit. Your number is placed on Bill of Lading with instructions for freight carrier to call you when liftgate/residential is on the order. This does not always happen and that is one of the main reasons to call before delivery to insure that srevices are on order. If not contact us and we will correct.
With liftgate/residential service carriers are obligated to place on the ground only. Most will help further but drivers are under no obligation to do so.
Accessory orders and or orders weighing less than 150lbs and meet size requirements are sent either by UPS or Fed Ex.
- Check the container for any obvious damage. If you can determine damage and feel that damage is replaceable and does not compromise the machine with a replacement part, then note the damage and that the freight company acknowledges such damage and agrees to pay for replacement part(s) labor etc (in writing on original Bill of Lading), otherwise refuse the shipment. It will be noted on the Bill of Lading your refusal and the reasons why. Notify us of the situation. This places the machine back in the hands of the shipper and insures their liability. They will return the machine back to the terminal. The supplier (WMH Tool Group, Inc.) and shipper will resolve the situation as according to their contract.
- Once you receive and sign for your unit, make sure you check the machine over, at this point your warranty is in effect. If something fails to operate correctly, let us know the situation and we will personally notify the company. Copy down your serial number and there should be a warranty card for you to send in. Also please send us your number so we can have a record.
- Please download the manual off the web site www.wmhtoolgroup.com click on Manuals and find your particular machine.
- We tend to read after the fact, but please read prior to operating and if at all possible prior to receiving. It contains necessary information.
- Make sure you have ample help getting you piece of equipment in its final place.
- We have have found cleaning off equipment where necessary with mineral spirits works better than the other more toxic solvents.
- Be careful and have fun.
